Terms

Terms of Service

Effective August 22, 2026 · Last updated August 22, 2026

These are the terms for using tonydoble.com and for buying my programs. I've written them plainly on purpose. By using this site or registering for a program, you're agreeing to what's below.

1. This is education, not financial advice

Everything I publish, teach, and sell is educational. I am a financial educator and author. I am not a licensed financial advisor, investment adviser, broker, accountant, or attorney, and nothing I provide is personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

I don't know your full situation, and I won't pretend to. What I teach is how to think through money decisions — not what you specifically should do with your money. Before making a significant financial decision, please talk to a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

If you ask me a specific question during a live session, I'll answer it the way I answer everything: by walking through how I'd think about it, not by telling you what to do.

You're responsible for your own decisions. I make no guarantee of any financial result.

2. Buying a program

Money Choices: Ready for Real Life is a four-week live online program. Registration covers one family — a parent or guardian and their teenager, siblings included. Payment is processed by Shopify.

Regular family enrollment is $197. The first cohort is offered at a Founding Family enrollment of $147.

Sessions run live on Zoom in webinar format, Tuesdays at 5:00pm Pacific / 8:00pm Eastern. I'll send you the link and reminders at the email address you register with, so please give me one you actually read. Replays are provided for every session.

If something outside my control forces me to move a session, I'll reschedule it and tell you as early as I can. If I have to cancel the program entirely, you get a full refund.

3. My refund promise

Come to all four weeks and do the work with your teenager. If your family doesn't have at least one conversation about money worth having, I'll refund every dollar. Not a trial period — the whole thing.

To request it, just email me at connect@tonydoble.com within 30 days of the final session. No form, no argument, and I won't ask you to justify it. I'd rather earn your trust than keep your money.

4. Recording

Sessions run in webinar format — participants are not on camera and are not visible to each other. When I record, I'm recording my own camera and my screen.

If a session will include live participant audio or chat in the recording, I'll say so out loud before recording begins.

I may use recordings of my own presentation to build training material and future courses. You may not record, screenshot, or redistribute any session without my written permission.

5. Materials and copyright

The books, workbooks, session materials, worksheets, videos, and everything else I provide are my copyrighted work. When you buy a program, you get a personal license to use those materials with your own family.

You may not resell them, post them publicly, share them with a group, or use them to teach others commercially. If you'd like to teach this material to a group — and I'd genuinely love for you to — that's what the facilitator certification is for. Get in touch.

Schools and districts: classroom and site licensing is available. Email me.

6. How we treat each other

There will be teenagers in these sessions. I ask everyone to be respectful, to let people finish, and to remember that a person sharing something about their money is trusting the room.

I reserve the right to remove anyone who is abusive, disruptive, or makes the space unsafe. If I remove you for cause, I'm not obligated to refund you — but honestly, I probably will, because I'd rather you just be gone than be angry.

What other families share in a session stays in that session. Please don't repeat it.

7. Young people

Every young person in this program takes part alongside a responsible adult. That isn't a formality — the conversation between the two of you is the entire point of the program.

Most of the time that adult is a parent or guardian. Sometimes it's a teacher, mentor, coach, or youth leader bringing someone from their classroom or program, and those adults are genuinely welcome here.

I don't independently verify any of this, so I'm trusting you on it. If you're not sure whether your situation fits, just email me — I'd much rather sort it out ahead of time than have you guess.

8. Free material

Some things here are free — the 401(k) Checkup, the free book, the educator materials, classroom Zoom visits. They come with the same disclaimer as everything else: educational, general, not advice. I may change or stop offering them at any time.

9. Email

When you give me your email, I'll send you what you asked for and, unless you tell me otherwise, my newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. I don't sell your address. See the privacy policy for the details.

10. Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, my total liability for any claim relating to this site or a program is limited to the amount you actually paid me for that program. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including financial losses arising from decisions you make.

Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

11. Links to other places

I link to Amazon, my Shopify store, and other sites. I don't control those and I'm not responsible for their content or their policies. Some links may earn me a commission at no cost to you.

12. Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top will tell you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it — but if a change affects a program you've already paid for, the terms you bought under are the ones that apply to you.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. Talk to me first

If you're unhappy with something, please email me before you do anything else. In almost every case I can just fix it or refund you. Nearly every dispute I can imagine here is smaller than the cost of arguing about it.
