Privacy Policy

Effective August 22, 2026 · Last updated August 22, 2026

This is my privacy policy, and I've tried to write it the way I'd explain it to you in person rather than the way a form generator would. If anything here is unclear, email me at connect@tonydoble.com and I'll answer.

This policy covers tonydoble.com and the programs I run through it. My retail store, 12th & Good Street, operates on Shopify and has its own policy.

The short version

I collect your name and email when you choose to give them to me. I use them to send you what you asked for and to stay in touch. I don't sell your information to anyone, ever. You can leave the list at any time with one click, and you can ask me to delete everything I have about you.

What I collect

Information you give me

Information collected automatically

Payment information

I never see or store your card number. Purchases run through Shopify, which handles payment processing directly. I see that a purchase happened and who made it — not your card details.

Why I collect it

Who I share it with

I do not sell your personal information. I don't trade it, rent it, or hand it to data brokers. I share it only with the services I need to run this:

ServiceWhat it handles
Kit (ConvertKit)Email list and sending
ShopifyPurchases and payment processing
NetlifyWebsite hosting and form records
ZoomLive program sessions
Meta & TikTokAdvertising measurement

I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Live sessions and recording

My live programs run in webinar format. That means participants are not on camera and are not visible to each other. When I record a session, I am recording my own camera and my screen — not participants' video.

If a session includes live audience audio or chat, I'll say so at the start of that session before anything is recorded. If you'd rather not be included, you can simply not speak or type — you can still fully participate by listening.

I may use recordings of my own presentation to train future facilitators or to create course material.

Young people

My programs are designed for teenagers to take part alongside a responsible adult — usually a parent or guardian, sometimes a teacher, mentor, or youth leader. Registration is always done by that adult, never by the young person. So any information I hold about a teenager came to me from an adult who gave it to me.

If an adult who isn't the parent registers a young person, that adult is responsible for having the parent or guardian's permission first. I don't independently verify it.

I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given me information, email me and I'll delete it.

If you're a parent or guardian and you want to know what I hold about your teenager, or want it removed, just ask. I'll do it, no explanation needed and no questions asked.

How long I keep it

I keep your information while you're on my list and for a reasonable period after, so I have records of purchases and can honor refunds. When you unsubscribe, you stop hearing from me immediately. If you'd like your data deleted outright rather than just unsubscribed, ask and I'll do that.

Your choices

You don't need to give a reason for any of these, and asking won't offend me.

If you live in California

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. I do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. To exercise any of these rights, email connect@tonydoble.com.

If you live in the EU or UK

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. My legal basis for processing is your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) and my legitimate interest in running an education business. Email me to exercise any of these.

Security

I use established providers with their own security practices, and I limit who can access your information — in practice, that's me. No system is perfectly secure, and I won't pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, I'll tell you.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, I'll email the list rather than quietly editing the page.
